Everybody is welcome at First Baptist, Chipley. We offer a full range of educational and inspirational services weekly: from Bible Studies, mission programs, music, children, youth, and senior adult programs. Everyone in your family can find a place of ministry and service.

We are located in the center of the beautiful Florida panhandle at Exit #120 on I-10 and Florida Highway 77. Guests can travel north on #77 to the third traffic light, County Road 273, then turn left. First Baptist is located three blocks on the right. You will find a warm and friendly fellowship

Are You Working For God?

I'M A SITTER... I just want to sit and enjoy doing nothing. It is easier to sit and think about aches and pains and hope everything will be all right down at church next Sunday.
I'M A QUITTER...I quit! I taught class once; i've served my time. I even visited a time or two, but there was no one home. If anything is done, let somebody else do it. I don't agree with Paul when he wrote about "pressing on to the high calling of God.
I'M A GETTER...The more I evaluate God and His salvation for me, the more I just naturally want to do more for Him. Even today, He is preparing a place for me in eternity. If He has not stopped working for me, then I must get things done for Him on earth.
