Record Sunday School Attendance - I am totally blown away! You know how ministries are accused of stretching the truth when it comes to numbers (like fishermen about the big one that got away). Well, I want to let you know that we had just under 500 in Sunday Shool this past Sunday. There were 499 present! Now that truly is just under 500.
New Preschool Security Measures - We now have pagers for parents of preschoolers, birth through two years old. Along with these pagers will come added security measures for all preschoolers birth through five years old. These policies went into effect Sunday, August 10th.
Are You Growing? - "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen." (1 Peter 3:18) We are not called to be Lone Ranger Christians. We need each other for encouragement, fellowship, accountability, etc. The best place to grow is by being involved in Sunday School Class. If you're not attending one right now, we have one for you. If you are attending one now, how about serving as a class leader (outreach leader, care group leader, prayer leader, assistant teacher, etc.)
We have 5 preschool classes, 5 children's classes, 6 youth classes (3 guys and 3 girls), and 17 Adult classes (college and career, 6 couples classes, 7 ladies classes, and 3 men's classes). We have a class for you! Come and enjoy the Bible Study and fellowship of a Sunday School Class! Our Sunday School classes are involved in a lot of ministry. If you want to be involved in ministry of or in need of ministry, join a Sunday School class.
Could You Help One Out of Twelve... - Would you consider helping one month out of the year. Sometimes we need an extra hand to hold a baby, help with a craft, etc. and would like to have one person from each adult Sunday School class to volunteer to help for only one month.
